about me
I’m an avid sports fan who cheers for the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, and Red Bull Racing F1 team. I love to travel, including annual trips to Boston to catch a game, eat some food, and celebrate (or commiserate) with good people.
I’m a software engineer who’s been building apps for Apple platforms since 2008. I started writing iPhone apps with the first iPhone OS SDK and have never looked back. I love all things Apple, and I’m passionate about well-crafted native apps.
I’ve lived in Utah for the last decade and currently live in a suburb of Salt Lake City with my wife Blaire and our two year old goldendoodle Dutch. I’ll never get tired of the mountains, and often go mountain biking, snowboarding, and hiking. Some of my other hobbies include weight lifting, photography, golf, and running, and pick-up basketball.
about the site
This site contains short form notes, commentary with links, and longer form posts. Everything should [clearly] be considered my own opinion and not the opinion of my current, former, or future employers. I’m guessing there are works on here I don’t even agree with anymore, such is life.
Some links on the site site are affiliate links, and as an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
The site is powered by Hugo, developed in Nova, and hosted on Netlify. Posts are written in Markdown, usually on a 16" MacBook Pro.
The headings and buttons are typeset in Cartridge by Dan Cederholm. The rest of the site is typeset in IvyPresto Display by Jan Maack.
